Organic coffee, Tyrolean meadow hay and an eShuttle service

We rely on state-of-the-art technical equipment and ergonomic workstations including height-adjustable desks with tabletops made of pressed Tyrolean meadow hay. Don't worry, even allergy sufferers will be happy about this (hay-)snuff-free ;-). Health. Definitely. Sustainability. Of course. Especially when it comes to catering – from our communal breakfast to the wide range of coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt and muesli for in-between meals – we pay special attention to regional and organic quality. As part of our welcome package, we give all new colleagues branded water bottles to fill at the BRITA water dispensers. This avoids the use of glass bottles and their transport, and also ensures our physical well-being in a sustainable way. But that's not all: Fabasoft also motivates us to sustainable commuting. For this purpose, free parking lots with e-charging stations and a separate bicycle cellar are available in the company's own underground parking. Team members who take part in the "Linzer Betriebe fahren Rad" ("Linz businesses ride their bikes") campaign receive prizes for their mileage. In addition, one of our favorite benefits provides us with comfort and flexibility: the Climate Ticket, which Fabasoft largely finances, together with the free eShuttle service from Linz Central Station to our headquarters and back, contributes to a relaxed start and end to the working day. The compatibility of work, family and private life is very important to us. On the one hand, this is proven by Fabasoft's award as a family-friendly employer. When it comes to family friendliness, one particularly popular benefit deserves special mention: "FABIs Kindernest", our company child and summer care facility, located directly at the Fabasoft headquarters in Linz. The opening hours are based on the needs and allow employees to plan ahead and enjoy a high degree of flexibility. High-quality furniture from regional suppliers, wooden play materials and maximum freedom of movement allow children aged one to three years to develop their skills under the playful guidance of qualified teachers from Diakoniewerk Oberösterreich. In addition, "FABI's Summer Camp" takes place during the vacation season with a varied program for four- to ten-year-olds. Activities include, for example, games, crafts, painting or a visit from a storyteller and a therapy dog. Highlights, including a robotics workshop, generate enthusiasm and encourage talent at an early stage. This leads us to another crucial criterion when choosing an employer.

To this end, Fabasoft has, among other things, set up a "RoboLab" within the company premises, with plenty of space for programming various robots as part of the "Fabasoft Robotics Camp" for beginners and advanced students, which takes place annually during the summer vacations. Together with the association Talente OÖ, Fabasoft thus pursues the aim of giving children or young people access to technology, computer science and programming and to contribute to the further development of highly talented people.
