The professional association endorses the solution's enhanced efficiency for procurement and logistics
The German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) has awarded Fabasoft Approve, a cloud-based product for technical data and document management, its “BMEnet Seal of Quality for Supplier Relationship Management.”
BMEnet’s seal of quality is awarded exclusively to software products and electronic platforms that play a role in helping to optimize the areas of procurement and logistics. The audit is based on criteria catalogs that specify BME’s predefined requirements for procurement solutions. Supplier management, sourcing, and desktop purchasing are among the relevant test criteria. The award provides both procurement managers and users the assurance that they are purchasing software with tested and verified quality standards. Fabasoft Approve fulfills every one of the 126 mandatory test criteria together with 31 of the 32 optional test criteria.
“Fabasoft Approve has successfully completed the exhaustive audit conducted pursuant to the BME criteria catalog for supplier relationship management. This product excels across the board. What I like most about this sophisticated solution is its high degree of flexibility in terms of configuration,” confirms Andreas Richter, Certification Officer at BMEnet GmbH.
“For Fabasoft, audits conducted by independent expert bodies provide invaluable proof of the high quality of our software products. We are committed to providing customers with transparent proof that our solutions actually meet their purchasing expectations. That’s why I’m particularly pleased that Fabasoft Approve has been awarded this seal of quality,” states an enthusiastic Andreas Dangl, Business Unit Executive for Cloud Services at Fabasoft.
