Senior IT Security Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission:

• You continuously monitor our IT systems, identify potential security risks, and analyze suspicious activities and vulnerabilities.
• You analyze and assess alerts from IDS/IPS, SIEM, UEBA, and endpoint protection systems, as well as suspicious emails, log data, and other security-relevant information sources.
• You plan, coordinate, and take ownership of measures to minimize risks and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• You continuously manage and further develop our cybersecurity tools and solutions, ensuring their effective use across the organization.
• You monitor the current threat landscape and cybersecurity trends and derive measures for the continuous improvement of our security architecture.

Your profile:

• You have completed vocational training with a focus on IT or information security and already have several years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• You have a strong security awareness, work analytically and in a structured manner, and always keep up to date with current threats and emerging attack methods.
• You have knowledge of incident response, malware analysis, and cybersecurity operations and are able to thoroughly assess security-related events.
• You work independently and in a solution-oriented manner and approach security-related issues with the necessary diligence and persistence.
• You are interested in the latest developments in cybersecurity and continuously expand your professional knowledge.
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.
