Head of Software Development (f/m/d)

Your mission:

• You will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of our software development teams.
• You are responsible for the entire software lifecycle – from the idea to implementation, operation, and optimization.
• You will take responsibility for the continued development of the Fabasphere AI Core and ensure that our solutions are technically and strategically up-to-date.
• You will create and promote a corporate culture in which ambition, responsibility, innovation, and excellence are lived.
• You will ensure scalable processes, efficient use of modern development and operational methods (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD), and manage their continuous improvement.
• You will accompany and take responsibility for audits, certifications, and compliance topics in the area of software development.
• You will report directly to our CTO and work closely with other executives in the company.
   

Who we imagine you to be:

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university) and several years of relevant professional experience in a dynamic environment.
• You have experience in full-stack software development (frontend and backend), agile development methods (e.g., Scrum), as well as CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• You possess a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and cloud/on-prem hybrid systems.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of personal responsibility define you – combined with a hands-on mentality.
• You have demonstrably built and successfully led strong software engineering teams.
• You convince with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• You are open to new technologies and want to continuously develop.
• Fluent in both German and English.
