On January 30, 2024, the first Fabasoft eGov Community event took place at Le Méridien in Munich, which was all about the transfer of know-how and the exchange of ideas on digital transformation in public administration. In addition to informative presentations on the latest developments in the Fabasoft eGov Suite, the event also offered numerous opportunities for networking. 

Keynote: Fabasoft eGov ecosystem - One shared government reality.

Fabasoft board member Matthias Wodniok opened the event with a keynote speech about the Fabasoft eGov ecosystem and the vision of "One shared government reality". This is based on many years of experience with public administration and the established use of the Fabasoft eGov suite in numerous public authorities. The Fabasoft eGov ecosystem realizes this vision through the synergies of the Fabasoft eGov suite with the complementary solutions and cloud-native technology, which together are the key to innovation and growth. 

Successful digital transformation: The decisive role of the Fabasoft eGov suite

In the presentation "Successful digital transformation: The decisive role of the Fabasoft eGov suite ", Stefan Arnold (Fabasoft) provided insights into how the Fabasoft eGov suite helps to drive digital transformation forward. He discussed the benefits and the interaction of the products. He also presented specific customer examples, highlighting the potential and possible applications of the Fabasoft eGov suite.

Guest contribution: Project status and outlook in the City of Munich

Later in the morning, Thomas Schmidbauer (Head of the Competence Center “E-Akte“ of the City of Munich) gave a guest talk on the topic "Project status and outlook for “E-Akte“ in the City of Munich". 

Done! on Fabasoft eGov: Opportunities and potentials

A presentation by Andreas Voglmayr and Christian Distelberger (Fabasoft) entitled "Done! on Fabasoft eGov: Opportunities and potential" rounded off the program. They provided information on how automation helps to exploit the potential of digitalization and support employees in their day-to-day work.
