Certificate Error Using Fulltext Search in Fabasoft Folio with Mindbreeze Enterprise Search
This is an urgent information for the error "Could not execute query (Problem with the CA cert (path? access rights?). CURLcode: CURLE_SSL_CACERT" appearing when using a fulltext search within Fabasoft Folio / Fabasoft eGov-Suite using Mindbreeze Enterprise Search.
This error occurs in the following situation:
- Mindbreeze Enterprise Search is used as fulltext engine, AND
- a user searches within Fabasoft Folio / Fabasoft eGov-Suite using fulltext search, AND
- Fabasoft Kernel version (coomk.dll / libcoomk.so) is below the versions listed at the end of this article
This issues is caused by an error in the certificate handling of Fabasoft Folio / Fabasoft eGov-Suite.
In the meantime it is still possible to use the Mindbreeze Client Service Webinterface for fulltext searches. With this search Fabasoft Folio / Fabasoft eGov-Suite results will still be returned.
Important: If your build number is equal or higher the listed build numbers, this error may also occour if your self-signed certificate is no longer valid. In this case, please visit our Troubleshooting Mindbreeze: No search results from Fabasoft Components article for a solution.
It is not possible to fix this by creating new certificates. Please do not try to fix this issue by re-issuing new certificates in your infrastructure.
Determining your Fabasoft Folio Kernel version
Open the Properties on the file C:\Program Files\Fabasoft\Components\Kernel\coomk.dll
RedHat or CentOS Linux
Use the fscversion command on the libcoomk.so file.
This issue applies to all listed Fabasoft Kernel versions below this build numbers. Fabasoft Folio versions from 2016 (16.x) and above are not affected.
