The continually growing digital interconnection between business partners, machines and other "things" (buzzword "IoT") is increasingly proving to be a challenge to the administration of business processes. In many sectors such as industry, pharmaceutical companies, financial services, etc., software tools installed at an organisation's data centre are no longer enough to achieve a high degree of standardisation, avoid process ruptures across the boundaries of organisations or IT infrastructure and increase productivity.
In the "Enterprise" edition of the Fabasoft Cloud, business processes are created in a graphical BPMN 2.0 editor that does not require any programming skills. Data and documents are safely stored in so-called "Teamrooms". Customers, external partners or suppliers can participate in the same way as internal employees do, e. g. to release or approve documents. In this way documents are managed in a safe, controlled and traceable manner, without any process ruptures and digitally across boundaries.
