Disruptive innovation is an innovation that creates a new market and value network and eventually disrupts an existing market and value network, displacing established market-leading firms, products, and alliances. (https://en.wikipedia.org)
Many companies which have so far been successful are indeed faced with the challenge of adopting and using new technologies – and of employing and adapting them to their benefit. Besides the inexorable digitisation of all industries, the possibility for small and micro enterprises to challenge major corporations with innovative ideas and replace them as market leaders is yet another perfect example of disruption. Are Austria’s businesses ready for these changes?
Disruption – A challenge
How can industrial companies establish a digital business model that will be successful?
And, above all: What is the ideal place for innovation? Should it grow within the core structure or take place abruptly in outsourced innovation hubs?
At the Fabasoft TechSalon, companies from the industrial sector will share their experiences on how they have successfully organised the modernisation of their business models and what role digitisation has played in this process.
Top-level representatives from leading Austrian industrial companies will discuss these issues and will furthermore be available for questions from the audience.
Look forward to an exciting and informative discussion!
