“EU-GDPR – Challenges and solutions for Swiss businesses“ 30-minute webinar

Starting on May 25, 2018, the data protection rules of GDPR with their high financial penalties will enter into force in the European Union. But how do these new and tightened rules concern Swiss businesses? Do they even apply? What needs to be done in order to be well prepared and be able to continue collaboration with EU partners, customers and suppliers in compliance with GDPR?

Dr. Christian Wind, attorney-at-law and partner at Bratschi, will give an overview of the new principles on data processing and will explain under what circumstances Swiss businesses are concerned. He will also highlight how you can adhere to Compliance in selected areas (requirements regarding declarations of consent, content of the information to be provided, data protection impact assessment, records of processing activities, reporting on infringements of data protection) and implement GDPR internally.

Klemens Berger, Director Fabasoft Schweiz AG, will then proceed with a short live demonstration of the Fabasoft EU-GDPR Toolbox. This EU-GDPR Management System of the Fabasoft Cloud is a tool designed to implement the requirements of GDPR.
