The state government of Baden-Wuerttemberg is currently working on a digitisation strategy under the brand “digital@bw” to make the state a digital leader in Germany and in Europe. Baden-Wuerttemberg is one of Germany’s first states to establish a dedicated Ministry of Digitisation.
Within the Ministry, the Office for Digitisation is steering and coordinating the state government’s efforts on this matter. In this one area alone, the state will invest a total of 325 million euros during the current parliamentary turn and trigger additional investments from business.
The state is therefore an important driver of digital innovation with the aim of making the state and the communities and particularly their administrations fit for the digital transformation.
The new congress “Baden-Württemberg 4.0” organised by the public service paper “Behörden Spiegel” in close cooperation with the Office for Digitisation of the Ministry of the Interior, Digitisation and Migration of Baden-Wuerttemberg will from now on accompany this process and provide additional impulses, focussing particularly on public administration and the digital transformation of the state and the communities.
