At the AIIM Expo 2010 in Philadelphia from April 20 to 24, 2010, top IT companies like EMC, Microsoft and Oracle presented their most recent developments. Fabasoft presented its new product,
Fabasoft Folio Cloud.
As the exclusive sponsor of "The Scene", Fabasoft also provided a top spot to meet, Tweet and connect for networking; a novelty at the AIIM. The Scene is a lounge at the center of the pavilion which provided a meeting point with free Internet access for the conference participants. It served as a venue for discussions, networking, and informal meetings with business partners. The start page on all computers at The Scene was a landing page created by Fabasoft, which also provided information about Fabasoft Folio Cloud and a link for free registration for visitors.
Due to the ash cloud over Europe, the Fabasoft team and several other participants were unable to travel to the venue; a situation which immediately demonstrated the benefits of Fabasoft Folio Cloud. Fabasoft was able to react swiftly, and to compensate for its personal absence offered "GoToMeetings". As a result, trade fair visitors were able to register personally for these virtual lectures and still benefit from Fabasoft’s presentations.
