Fabasoft in Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management
20.01.12
Fabasoft is in the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management, the globally recognized research in the field of ECM software. The research and advisory firm, Gartner Inc., positions providers in an international evaluation based on clearly defined criterion such as scope of service and innovative strength.
Michael Hadrian, Managing Director Fabasoft Distribution GmbH, was pleased with this result and viewed it as a strong incentive for the future: “We believe Fabasoft’s positioning in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management serves both as confirmation of our strategy to produce and offer software products with a high degree of quality, usability and style and as motivation to continue to follow this approach.”
Gartner defines Fabasoft as a “niche player”. The route to becoming a global player is defined by four key areas that will shape the future ECM market: The Cloud, mobility, analytics and the management of ever increasing content. Fabasoft believes it is well positioned for all these challenges, with product solutions in all corresponding categories.
As part of the market analysis, Gartner Inc., reported that despite recent financial depression, “enterprise content management (ECM) spending actually grew, by 5.1% in 2009 and by 7.6% in 2010. ECM software revenue alone was $3.9 billion in 2010. And we project this growth will continue — at an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.4% through 2015.” Therefore a positive outlook and exciting prospects for Fabasoft to profit from the ECM boom with innovative software solutions.
