Folio Cloud is the European business cloud for secure collaboration with business partners over the internet. Business partners work securely and efficiently in Folio Cloud via team rooms. A team room is a secure area to which only business contacts who are explicitly authorised, invited and reliably authenticated have access.
The relevant data is available at all times and in all places in the team rooms. This means that data exchange via e-mail, FTP services or memory sticks is no longer required. Team rooms can also be accessed using mobile end devices from a variety of manufacturers with apps that support the standards WebDAV, CalDAV and CMIS. Functionalities such as versioning, auditing and workflow for structured, comprehensive business processes, ensure the traceability and transparency demanded by companies.
Folio Cloud supports safe authentication with a client certificate that is issued personally for the user, two-factor authentication with mobile PIN and registration with “Digital ID”. Access in Austria is via the Citizen Card with mobile phone signature and in Germany with the new digital ID Card. These tested identities ensure what is currently the highest possible degree of security on the internet.
Folio Cloud is offered in various editions that differ from each other in terms of the functionalities they contain, cloud apps available and online storage. The editions can be extended through cloud apps. Data is stored in the Fabasoft data centres in Central Europe. European standards for data security and data protection thus apply.
