Fabasoft eGov-Forms

Administering Online Forms Centrally

Fabasoft eGov-Forms is in large measure based on the Fabasoft reference architecture and its basic components. Thus, Fabasoft eGov-Forms benefits from:

  • High availability
  • Scalability
  • Stability
  • Security
Online forms are hosted on web servers by Fabasoft eGov-Forms using Fabasoft Components web services. The engine for executing online forms is also delivered by Fabasoft eGov-Forms. To execute online forms, they have to be brought into a production environment. The call is made by a URL, which can contain execution parameters and further specific parameters.

Completed forms are stored on the form server as objects. As part of the Fabasoft reference architecture the web server is placed in the DMZ (=demilitarized zone) of a network and so it is exposed to potential danger from the Internet. Because of security reasons completed forms can be deleted on the form server after transmission into Fabasoft eGov-Suite. Incompletely filled forms can be deleted immediately or after a certain period of time.
