Logging using vApp Logs
With vApp Logs, Fabasoft Operations Manager 2007 provides a powerful logging feature that gives you detailed information about various function calls being made by a large number of Fabasoft software products. This will allow you to perform a comprehensive survey of your application. For each HTTP request, detailed information will be recorded and transferred into a data warehouse for further analysis.
vApp Logs will allow you to make objective statements about the response time behavior of your application. Additionally, analyzing the size and amount of documents transferred by your application will help in the capacity planning for such topics as storage and network capacity. By defining a measuring point – the web server farm as the first central point of your application in your datacenter – and by exact timestamps in the vApp Logs, you are provided with a comprehensive and objective basis for your daily status reports.
