Digital processes are at the centre of the three-day technology-congress Fabasoft teched 06. National and international experts will be passing on their experiences from November 7th till November 9th at the Design Center in Linz, Austria. This year’s technology-congress is the third in the history of Fabasoft.
Among the speakers is Tom Austin, Gartner Fellow and Group Vice President of the Gartner Group. Austin is a worldwide known visionary in the ICT-industry and forecasted years ago, that client-server-structures in companies would be displaced by web-based applications. In his keynote speech, Austin will go into Emerging Trends and Technologies in Improving Workplace Performance – a glimpse into the working-life of tomorrow.
Digital world-premieres
Fabasoft AG is premiering two software products. Fabasoft Folio 2007 is designed for digital process management in the commercial sector. With DUCX Fabasoft introduces another digital world-premiere. DUCX stands for Digital Use Case eXecution. This new technology enforces IT-technicians to program traceable software-applications on the basis of use cases. DUCX will therefore be the base for future model-driven development of customer-specific solutions.
At the same time Fabasoft will be presenting version 7 of their product range which uses best-of-breed technologies such as Microsoft Windows Vista and Web 2.0. In keeping with our “strategy 100” as the market leader in the field of digital administration in Austria, we offer our products on both Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms.

Large supporting programme
For the supporting programme Fabasoft has arranged a very spectacular highlight: The worldwide known Shaolin-monks will be thrilling the audience with their breathtaking show. In addition, the popular actor and cabaret artist Heinz Marecek will be performing “Das ist ein Theater”.
