Event Information

Fabasoft is Gold Sponsor of the “Agile 2008” which is the premier international conference in agile development. More than 1600 participants from around the world will show up at the Agile 2008.
Agile 2008 covers topics about techniques and technologies, attitudes and policies, research and experience, and the management and development sides of agile software development.

The agile approach focuses on delivering business value early and being able to incorporate emergent requirements. It accentuates the use of rich communication channels and frequent delivery of running, tested systems, while attending to the human aspect of software development. In particular the conference provides a forum for the exchange of information regarding all agile development technologies rather than a single methodology or approach.
Fabasoft develops software using an agile method called “Scrum” which is also used by well-known companies like the Eclipse Foundation. Scrum is a process skeleton that includes a set of practices and predefined roles.

During a sprint (10 days) the team creates an increment of shippable software. The set of features that go into each sprint come from the product backlog, which is a prioritized set of high level requirements of work to be done
